FAQ

Will the cost of the dietitian’s services be covered by my health insurance plan?

The services of a Registered Dietitian are covered, in full or in part, by some health insurance plans. Full or partial reimbursement of the cost of the dietitian’s services, is at the discretion of your health insurance provider. Please contact your health insurance provider to find out about the details of your particular plan, and be sure to ask about any restrictions and/or limits that may apply. The dietitian always provides you with an official invoice for each service you pay for, which can be submitted to your health insurance provider as needed.

Why do I need to have an initial assessment session with the dietitian?

A Registered Dietitian is a professional trained to provide dietary advice tailored to each client’s specific needs. She needs to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and food habits in order to give you the best advice possible.

If I choose a consultation via phone, do I call you?

There is no need to call the dietitian. She will call you at the scheduled appointment time (Eastern Standard Time) at the number you provided when you booked your appointment.
